Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes
Serving Size 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 medium avocados Hass
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice

Instructions

  • Prepare the avocados. Mash the avocados until the desired texture (more smooth or chunky).
  • Put them all together. Add the remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
  • Serve right away or cover with a lid and let chill for 15 minutes.

Notes

  • To Store. Place the guacamole in an airtight container and place a plastic wrap on top. Make sure that the wrap touches the surface of the guac to remove any space for air. Place the lid and store it in the fridge for 3 to 4 days. To freeze, place it in a freezer-friendly bag and press to remove as much air as possible. It can stay frozen for up to 2 to 3 months.
  • To thaw. Transfer frozen guac from the freezer to the refrigerator. Allow it to thaw slowly, which will help maintain its texture and flavor. This can take a few hours to overnight. Mix well until it becomes creamy again and serve as you normally would.
